Work has had me on a plane for most of the last month, with no time left to spend in the shop. So I was grateful for the opportunity to do something I actually enjoy over the long weekend. Here is a pic of my latest neck:



This is my first attempt at inlaying something a little more complicated than MOP dots. I got the set from Andy DePaule, and would recommend him to anybody.

Wow! Fantastic looking dread you have there!!!

Spalted maple rosette? That looks really killer...
What is that purfling you have going around the rosette and perimeter? Looks mint, whatever it is! It creates a distinct border that really delineates the whole instrument in a laid back, sort of 'chill' fashion... I think I'm going to shamelessly copy that
